A Map of Us

What started as wedding table decorations became a full illustration system. The brief was personal: a set of city icons representing the places my partner and I had traveled together, each one built around the city's most iconic landmark and interwoven with its national flower. The result was a series of detailed, elegant line illustrations that worked as centerpieces at the wedding and scaled naturally into a broader collection.

Each city was approached as a miniature portrait, balancing architectural accuracy with botanical detail, all within a consistent monochromatic style that feels timeless on paper and screen alike.
